The Tourism Department of the Fulton Montgomery Regional Chamber of Commerce announces the travel guides for Fulton and Montgomery Counties will be updated for the 2017 tourism season. All tourism-related businesses in Fulton and Montgomery Counties are encouraged to update their profiles for the tourism websites and tourism publications.
“Fulton and Montgomery Counties’ Tourism program goals for 2017 include creating a new travel guide for each county and updating the VisitMontgomeryCountyNY.com and 44Lakes.com tourism websites,” states Gina DaBiere-Gibbs, Director of Tourism. “Updated profile sheets are vital to the success of having accurate tourism websites and travel guides to fulfill requests from potential visitors to our region. And these listings are free to our region’s tourism properties as aligned with the I LOVE NY matching funds program. ”
Tourism Profile sheets are available for all tourism properties in the two-county region on visitmontgomerycountyny.com/blog and 44lakes.com/blog. All Fulton and Montgomery County tourism-related businesses are encouraged to download this sheet, fill it out, and send it to the tourism department by Friday, January 6. Businesses that should fill out the profile sheet include, but are not limited to, hotels, motels, bed and breakfasts, restaurants, attractions, museums, historic sites, libraries, information centers, and agricultural businesses open to the public. These profile sheets will be used to create the travel guides and update the listings on the websites.
