7:00:pmThe Glove Theatre Presents: Back to the Garden 1969-The Woodstock Experience
The Glove Theatre is proud to present Back to the Garden (BTTG) 1969 – The Woodstock Experience!
The Woodstock Music Festival was the ultimate rock concert, a celebration of peace, love and music. More than fifty years later, BTTG brings you back to the music and that weekend.
Formed by Gary Adamson in 2009, this is a group of versatile musicians and singers who have come together to celebrate the music, and the spirit of the Woodstock Era.
BTTG 1969 recreates the classic sounds associated with Woodstock. The musical performances are a tribute to the artists who made Woodstock great, including Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, Jimi Hendrix, Sly &The Family Stone, Jefferson Airplane, Santana, Joe Cocker, Janis Joplin, The Band, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Canned Heat, Ten Years After, The Who, Mountain, Richie Havens, Melanie, Arlo Guthrie, Blood, Sweat & Tears, The Grateful Dead, Country Joe & The Fish,…and more!
BTTG 1969 brings you a full multimedia theatrical event, recreating the Woodstock Experience through period costuming, lighting, video, and sound bites. Storytelling also enhances the mood, with tales of the festival, the legendary artists who performed, and the backdrop of the tumultuous decade of the 60’s.
Not your typical tribute band! Most tribute bands perform the music of only one artist. BTTG 1969 is a tribute to a very special moment in time, and to the many artists whose music will forever be known as “Classic Rock.” From nostalgic Baby Boomers to intrigued Gen Z’ers, and all those in between, there is something in this show for EVERYONE!
So, grab your tie dye and love beads…and celebrate Woodstock with us at The Glove!

2:00:pmThe Glove Education Series Presents: The Rise and Fall of the Borscht Belt at The Glove Theatre
The Glove Education Series continues with a FREE screening of the documentary The Rise & Fall of the Borscht Belt.
The Borscht Belt is the name for a section of the Catskill Mountains in Sullivan and Ulster Counties. Starting in the 1920s, it became a summer retreat and sanctuary for millions of Jews escaping from accepted American anti-Semitism. From the 1950s through the 1980s, this sprawling region of bed and breakfast farmhouses, bungalow colonies, and resort hotels numbered in the several hundreds and drew people from all over the Eastern Seaboard. The Borscht Belt was famed for its social scene, epic food spreads, and its entertainment. The Borscht Belt was the launching pad for iconic stand-up comics such as Rodney Dangerfield, Joan Rivers, Alan King, Billy Crystal, and Jerry Seinfeld.
Following the screening, we will have a Q&A moderated by Glove Theatre Board Member Aaron Enfield. He will discuss the history of the Borscht Belt with Jay Blotcher of the Borscht Belt Museum in Ellenville, New York.
Runtime: 1h 21m

The 518 Concert Series proudly presents the return of The Nolanauts — and their “Party Gras Explosion”!
Everyday is “Party Gras Day” with the Nolanauts ! ! ! The Nolanauts celebrate the joyful historical and contemporary fire of New Orleans music, sharing it with fans of all ages while creating a vibrant party atmosphere wherever they go.
We’re excited to have the NoLaNauts return to The Glove Theatre once again! Like last year, before the 7pm show — the Nolanauts will lead a New Orleans’ style Second Line sidewalk parade featuring local musicians (students and revelers of any age) joining in on horns and percussion. While supplies last, we’ll be giving kazoos out to young children who would like to join in on the parade with their own “instrument”.
Main Street businesses will be open and serving up their own New Orleans vibe to downtown Gloversville.
Then the party moves to The Glove for a banging NolaNauts high-energy, horn-fueled funky concert / dance party!
The Nolanauts is a powerhouse 10-piece band delivering the electrifying sounds of New Orleans with deep grooves, fiery brass, and an unstoppable party vibe. Whether you’re a longtime funk lover or just looking for a night of infectious rhythms and good times, the Nolanauts are guaranteed to get you on your feet.
Since their debut livestream performance at The Linda WAMC’s Performing Arts Studio, Nolanauts have been lighting up mid-sized venues and festival stages across the Northeast.
After dropping their debut original singles, “Early Warning” & “Neutral Ground,” Nolanauts are keeping the momentum going with four new singles set for release in 2025.
With a mission to spread the funk and keep the New Orleans party alive, Nolanauts are gearing up for an even bigger year of live shows, new music, and unforgettable performances.
Catch them live and experience the funk firsthand! It’s always Party Gras with the Nolanauts!
