The 9th Annual Adirondack Outdoorsman Show will take place at the Johnstown Moose Club (109 South Comrie Ave/Rte 30A) on Saturday, February 15 (10am-6pm) and Sunday, February 16 (10am-5pm). The show is geared toward the tastes of hunters, fisherman and outdoor enthusiasts with exhibits containing items for sale pertaining to: hunting & fishing gear/supplies, guns, archery, trapping, boating, camping, hiking, snow shoeing, guides & charter services, taxidermy, snowmobiling, collectable knives, antique hunting & fishing gear, wildlife art & books and Adirondack furniture.
In addition, many featured guests, authors and industry experts are scheduled to be on hand throughout the weekend giving seminars and discussing outdoor and hunting subjects with attendees. The first featured guests are “New York State’s First Family of Deer Hunting”, the Salerno Brothers. Also being featured will be Adirondack book author, William J O’Hern. He has authored 9 Adirondack books including “Noah John Rondeau’s Adirondack Wilderness Days”. The third featured guest will be Adirondack cooking author, Nancy Best. All three featured guests (as well as other authors) will have their books and videos for sale, will have displays, and be doing seminars throughout the weekend.
In conjunction with this year’s show, the “Take Me Fishing & Hunting Raffle” will be taking place with the prizes consisting of guided fishing and hunting trips with professional guides throughout New York State.
