8:15:amMorning Yoga with Mary Ann Zicarelli, Instructor at Paul Nigra Center
This class is designed to welcome all levels to the mat. The pace is mindful, which gives students the opportunity to connect their breath to each pose. Holding poses for several breaths allows students to find that deeper connection of the mind, body and breath. Frequent alignment cues are given, which help newcomers feel comfortable and supported on their mat. The cues also help the most seasoned student with refined alignment, which ultimately brings more space, strength and peace into their practice.
This class begins with embodiment movements that help warm up the joints, muscles and connective tissue, which prepares the body to gain more flexibility, mobility and strength. Classes are prepared with a theme or peak so that students can feel connected to the process and purpose of each experience on the mat.
*Members receive a 20% discount. Don’t forget to enter the promotional code in the registration window! Please be aware that no refunds or exchanges will be issued for classes or events unless it is canceled by the Nigra Arts Center.
