Cardinal Amidst Pine Boughs Watercolor

Close the month of February with a bright red bird in a gray-green pine grotto by painting this 5”x7” watercolor! Participants will create a washy background of muted grays and greens after masking off the warmer colored branches and bird with frisket. The cardinal and pine needles are surprisingly easy to paint with a little guidance, and instructor Cheryl Bielli will demonstrate and advise throughout the layering process.
