New this Winter, but set to become an annual fun-filled Fulton County Winter festival – the Caroga Winter Carnival kicks-off on Friday, Jan.31 with outdoor events, activities, food, beverage and music through Sunday, Feb. 2, Groundhog Day, and yes we are hoping for more winter fun!
The Caroga Lake OUTHOUSE RACES are back! NICK STONER SNOWMOBILE CLUB POKER RUN with stops at: Vrooman’s (host), Nick Stoner Inn, Pine Lake Lodge, Pleasant Lake Inn, Oppenheim Trail Blazers, Caroga Fish & Game Club, Royal View Campground, Camper’s Corner Store, with fuel available at Caroga Lakeview Store. There will be a VINTAGE SNOWMOBILE SHOW, Bonfire with S’mores, a CHILI COOK-OFF, SNOW VOLLEYBALL TOURNAMENT, SLEIGH RIDING PARTY. KIDS ICE FISHING CLINIC, and a winter FIREWORKS DISPLY on Saturday night.

New addition to Saturday Feb1: Fat Bike Demo Day 10 am to 2:30 pm at Wheelerville Trails! Syracuse Bicycle will be bringing a fleet of Fat Bikes to demo on Saturday. They will have product to to test and try from TREK as will as Piviot cycles. This will be a great opportunity to give Winter Fat Biking a try and test out the latest bikes from TREK and Piviot. They will also have some fat bike parts and accessories available and on display such as studded tires, wheels, and other winter accessories. The demo is scheduled to start at 10am and will go until 2:30pm. *A Big thanks to Syracuse Bicycle for helping put on this demo and keeping our tradition of hosting fat bike demos going!

Kids Fishing Clinic, Sunday Feb. 2, 8 to 11 am: Join the Caroga Fish & Game Club Sunday, Feb. 2 from 8 to 11 am for a morning of kids fun and adventure! Kids 12 and under are welcome to learn about the sport of ice fishing and participate in this hands-on, kid-friendly, educational activity. Sign–in and access will be at the Town of Caroga’s entrance near Bath Ave. in Caroga Lake. This is a free event, please dress appropriately for the weather. *Event is dependent upon the weather and lake conditions.
