I LOVE NY starts the “New York Fall Foliage Report” on September 11 and will continue until the end of the foliage season, around the first or second week in November.  Fulton County has its own “foliage spotters” to participate in this annual report.

More patches of color are beginning to appear this week.  There is still a lot of green but the color is definitely progressing and becoming brighter.

The Broadalbin Village Art Show will host an artist meet and greet Wednesday night.  The exhibits will be open through September 22 at 6 local businesses during each venue’s regular business hours.   Also on, September 21 and 22 is the Broadalbin Youth Commission’s 1st Annual Craft Fair at the Broadalbin-Perth High School.

Saturday, the Johnstown Historical Society will present a living history walking tour through the Johnstown Cemetery, “Stories Behind the Stones”.

On Sunday, Pine Lake Park is hosting a Craft Fair & Fall Festival with hundreds of craft items, mums, and pumpkins as well as a vintage car show, hay rides, chili cook-off and more.  Also on Sunday, Gloversville Neighborhood Improvement will their second annual Music on the Porch event with live music and food.
