Locust Grove Farm
Located on County Route 110 near the junction of Goodemote Road
Tiffany Brockway lived on this land from 1805 until his death in 1866 at age 93. Brockway was a Major during the War of 1812 and served as a militia Colonel. He was an outspoken abolitionist and his farm is said to have been a part of the Underground Railroad. The late Ed Tanner, former president of the Broadalbin-Kennyetto Historical Society, was instrumental in obtaining the necessary permission from the owner of the property and getting the Fulton County Highway Department to install the pull-over to make this location safe for travelers to view the marker.
